Will CBD Fail a Drug Test?

Understanding CBD

CBD, or cannabidiol, is a non-psychoactive compound found in hemp. It’s popular for its potential health benefits, including stress relief and better sleep. But, can it show up on a drug test?

The Role of  THC

Drug tests typically look for THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), the psychoactive compound in cannabis. Pure CBD products, like CBD isolate, contain no THC and are unlikely to cause a positive test result.

Full Spectrum vs. Broad Spectrum CBD

Full Spectrum CBD contains trace amounts of THC (0.3% or less). While it's unlikely to cause a positive drug test result, regular use could lead to trace THC buildup. Broad Spectrum CBD has no THC, making it a safer option.

The Bottom  Line

CBD alone won’t cause you to fail a drug test. However, be cautious with full-spectrum products, and always check the THC content. When in doubt, go for THC-free options to stay safe!
